Tamiya spray paint for metal surface?

Hi guys I need to spray an aluminium roll bar candy lime green (Kawasaki green) can I use Tamiya TS spray onto metal will it work? Does Tamiya make a specific spray for metal surface what do you recommend?

(1) Brush chromate conversion coating (Alocrom), (2) Tamiya Surface Primer, then (3) Tamiya TS spray.

For simplicity replace (1) and (2) with an etch primer (Halfords) else the topcoat won't stick.

Thank you so basically spray with etch primer and then spray Tamiya TS on top of it that will work ok?

I've not had any problems personally but it's always worth checking on a scrap piece of degreased aluminium first. Remember, TS spray is a lacquer so is quite brittle and will be always be prone to chipping unless it's got a good key :huh:

I used Tamiya’s metal primer when I painted my RC10 sand rail.
