Vickz1601 0 Posted December 12, 2017 Hi All, Was just wondering if anyone would know best tires setup for brushless WT01, as the original spike tires does not have any grip at all, the only best grip I can get out of this tires is on grass. Have anyone try the tires for HSP or redcat from ebay? are the any good? Thanks
TurnipJF 9192 Posted December 12, 2017 The soft spiky tyres offered on the GF-01 Heavy Dump seem to grip very well, but you'd need a different set of wheels to use them.

Prescient 671 Posted December 12, 2017 @Vickz1601 what country are you in. The best for the WT01 chassis are the 135/70 chevron tyres which are on my Blackfoot Xtreme below. These are the biggest volume tyres that are direct fit to 2.2 wheels, as slightly bigger than wheelie king tyres. These come on rims which have the wrong offset but the tyres & foams are 2.2 so fit straight on the standard Tamiya rims. They have loads of grip and give a much better scale look to the truck. They vary from £25 per set shipped these days.
Vickz1601 0 Posted December 13, 2017 @TurnipJF I Will look into this today, it look like a nice option. Thanks @Losi XXT-CR Just for general use, road, parks, tennis court. Was just wondering if the rubber has hardened through out the years, its the same tyres for the last 5 years running stock motor. just recently change to brushless system. @Prescient Wow that is one nice looking truck, what brand of tyres is this? I'm located at Sydney. You can use wheel spacers though plus they grip well. These are the ones you want. Rims don't fit but tyres go straight on the standard Tamiya 2.2s https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbyking-r-tm-1-10-crawler-monster-truck-135mm-wheel-tire-silver-rim-2pcs.html
