Traxxas EZ-Peak Plus Charger - Any good?

Morning,

I need to buy myself a charger and there's too many out there.  This Traxxas charger comes up as the best seller on Modelsport and seems pretty simple to use.

Has anyone got one or can anyone offer any advice on whether it's any good or if I should go for something else.

Hi

i had one of these didn’t last very long so I wouldn’t buy another mine was the double one much better ones out there. When I rang the model shop I use most he said not to go for another one  and steered me in the right direction of what to get. Everybody has there own prefererence so it’s personal choice I think.

The only time I recommend the Traxxas charger is if you have an inexperienced person with lipo.   Otherwise,  I think the Hitec chargers are a great choice.   Take a look at the RDX1 and the x2 for a dual charger.  It's a little more cash than the EZ peak,  but they have more room for you to "grow" into.

x2 on the Hitec recommendation.  I have an X1 I bought used for a great price.  It works great and my 8 year old daughter uses it without my supervision now.
