What kind of RC stuff did Santa leave under your tree this year?

I got a couple LiPo's, the new Tamiya Beetle Rally kit, a slipper clutch for my XV-01 and some tools.

I got the Tamiya Master Modeler Book. Wasn't a huge surprise - I bought it off Ebay and gave it to my wife to wrap up for me...

My son loved his Lightning McQueen on Christmas Day...until he got an Octopod.

I didn’t get anything RC related 😒.

I’ve not looked at the instructions yet but do you need another couple of pulleys to go with the slipper kit?

I saw them listed elsewhere and bought them anyway!!

NIB MT-01 Bush Devil 2 with ballrace kit, larger tires, spray paint for body, Sport Tuned motor, Radio Gear and High Torque Servo, New tool box, Tamiya tools, craft knife, long nose pliers and side cutters, tire glue, Shoe Goo, box of Boomerang/sabre/Bigwig parts, a 2nd hand heavily modded Midnight Pumpkin- still waiting on the post for that one, a project Terra Scorcher, a project Super Sabre new CORE charger, new NiMh AA charger and 8 batteries with it.

Son:-

I don't think the pulley's are required for the slipper clutch, but they're a nice upgrade anyway!  The spur gear that comes with the slipper is 48p so you need a 48p pinion to go with it.

Wouldn't mind a Tamiya style mug! Maybe a Boomerang or a Clod for me  though.

I bought myself a Grand Hauler for Christmas. Didn't really get anything else so kind of glad I did. Can't complain, everyone spoiled my kids which was nice (and it is about them) so I just had to buy for this big kid 😆

I got my boys a Lunchbox Black Edition and Mad Bull mug. Ordered a Blackfoot one for myself, then seeing it was buy 3 get a 4th for free, I added an Avante 2001 mug to the order

Nothing with the tamiya logo on it unfortunately but I got a wee drone with a camera on it that links to my phone so I can sorta do fpv flying, one of those wall racer cars that can climb up the wall (unsurprisingly enough) and enough money to afford the axial scx10 ii that I've had my eye on for a while now.

i was gonna do the same but i did'nt have to money to hand at the time.

i asked him to make the grand hauler mug up plus another one but then i did not have the cash to get them as sumthing cropped up (as per). ill get my son to order the other next week when everything is back to normal.my little moan about the mug is the colour aint that vivid

Lunchbox one colour is ok. Mad Bull one isn't quite as nice. But I think that's down to differing original box art styles.

Must admit I haven't had the Blackfoot or Avante ones out of the boxes yet.

Really this year the most satisfaction I got was from giving  bought my girlfriend a used Infiniti Q45

gave her old Infiniti i35 to her mother  

her Mom was so happy that it made me happy

Bought my son an Axial SCX 2 CRC Jeep

My girlfriend got me a gift certificate to a local hobby shop that I used to buy a hitec charger and 12 pairs of F201 tires from the dollar bin

I treated myself to a black Porsche

a set of Tecnacraft wheels 

Finally a used F103GT chassis I’ve been itching try out a project on but I didn’t want to use a new one

I got some bits for the onroad racers. A F103 front for more width for the TRF102 and then springs and setup gear for the TA07. My son got a Monster Beetle and Futaba 3PV so I got to build a kit as well.

Well I had a stroke of luck, I don't earn much so I spent everything and more on my daughters presents (Kumamon DT-02, Blu Blu and Holly the creepy talking dolphins, fingerlings etc).

But then a few days ago, I randomly happened to sell a couple of things on ebay I'd had listed for months and the next day, ebay had a 20% of anything offer. That included multiple items in the same basket so I managed to get a Holiday Buggy which I think will be great company for my daughters Kumamon AND a Heavy Dump Truck which I am ridiculously excited about. Had enough change for some spray paints to finish my Neo Fighter off in the Frog scheme too. All this with zero effect on my already battered bank account! 

Between those two and the Bullhead fixer upper I got back at my birthday it should be a busy start to the year!
