Granddad Stinky 975 Posted March 13, 2018 Still waiting for metal gears on the slow Junk from China, so i’ve rebuilt the front end, ready for the delivery. These were blue. 🤷♂️ New shiny stainless. Installed on new casings. The top swivels and bushes that I made earlier. Hubs from my old Feiyue, yeucky blue removed. White base coat. Green enamel. New bearings. New smaller step screws to enable bushing. Making Delrin bushes. Assembly time. The colours clash so magnificently it’s almost pretty. 😂 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Granddad Stinky 975 Posted March 25, 2018 I'm laid up in bed at the moment so this is an update on stuff I did a few days ago. New metal diff set. New sealed bearings. No locked diff, I want to go round corners, but this gives about 50% LSD effect. Installing pinion. Front assembly complete, with new red shock plate. Back in the chassis. DT02 shocks give more ground clearance. This is the maximum without the UJ shafts binding on the edge of the axle cups. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
