Hi all,

A couple of q’s for you.

Slowly getting ready to finish up the build and today got the servo and steering rods in and the electrics connected up.

With the steering rods as close as I can get them to 50mm between ends the buggy looks to have a little bit of toe out. Is this right? Is that the default out the box characteristic of this kit.

Secondly it pulls slightly to the right. Does this indicate a problem, possibly related the the first q or is it just one of those things? I believe, although happy to be corrected that this trait at least can be dialled out using the TX (Futaba 3PV) but as to how I’ve not looked into if it is indeed possible.

The servo was centred/neutral before fitted the rods etc.

Cheers for anything. Just wanting to know the rods and toe are about right for the initial build so I know I’m starting right and now chasing issues from the off.

The 3PV has the trim setting to fix the pulling to the right. I find that the adjustment is very fine, so you may set it to 10 amd notice no difference, so may need to set it to say 50 left to fix it pulling right a small amount.

Usually the manual is a good base setup, my TT02Bs have a tiny bit of toe out and no adjustment on thevsteering rods, can't recall if they had that when new and its meant to be there or if its because they need some work though, one definitely needs a new front...

Cheers. Had a look at manual earlier on my break so know what I’m looking for now but useful to know it might need a lot of adjustment to be noticeable.

Bit of toe out is spot on

Cheers. Kinda suspected it would be fine but wanted to check before I started pulling things apart looking for an issue that wasn’t actually there anyway!
