FPV car kit

Is there a simple plug and play FPV kit that can be fitted to a car?

Been looking for a while and lost in RX, TX screens, cameras?

I know its a budget thing, not looking for anything too fancy.

I'd like to see what you come up with. I tried hacking together something a couple of years ago and ending up frying the camera with too many volts. I did get it to work my gpro, it wasn't a very elegant solution.

Still very much in the reading stage, almost all the hardware is designed for drones.

This turned up while I was looking,  the monitor isn't included, cheap truck, cheap fpv kit all strapped together.. but it turned up in the search.

The all in one kit was around £60, that was camera/tx and receiver screen, and I suppose I could upgrade the camera after the kids have crashed the car a few times. lol

Have you found a UK source for the camera kit only with screen for £60 ? this looks like it could be fun!

No it was a chinese system that was an all in one fpv kit for 60. Will post link later if its allowed. Not sure on quality, need to do more research.

I used to be a drone guy all you need is a cam (eg runcam, foxeer arrow) and a vtx. then you need to power it so a battery. then a monitor, phone or fpv googles to view video.

Thanks @MICHAELs TopForce17 this is the type of info i have been looking for. 

I was hoping to power the camera by the car receiver output, also i have a spare 2 channels, have seen the 2axis gimballs, was thinking i could control camera movement as well.

Also was looking at using a phone as viewing screen as well, so thanks for that link.

The Run Cam brand seems like s good quality product - looks like you can get them here:

the runcam swift 2 has a microphone as well, but the tx200 doesn't mention audio..

it might be fun to transmit video and audio back to the phone / display any suggestions?

Most fpv racers don’t use audio you really don’t want that loud buzzing in your ears.
