1060’s for £6!!!

I'd rather just buy them as I need them from modelsport. More expensive but they are there the next day with no stressful waiting and worrying if they're genuine or not. If there's any issues their customer service is second to none and I'm supporting a company that support the forum. I just look at it that I'm paying extra for superfast delivery

True enough and I bought my 860 from them rather than risk eBay that time round. Seduced by cheapie cheapie this time... perhaps there will be a lesson learned, we’ll see..

M-sports delivery is very good and they are helpful on the phone too.

well like some i ordered two when this thread went up , also got the infor saying on the way ..

 

Today gets a e mail saying about they have been away for the Chinese new year , now back etc .. and if I leave a GOOD feed back I will get a free gift ...lol ...

No chance until I see my ESC'S...... but maybe way they went off for a short time ....

I’ve bought countless ones from Modelsport. Have a few kits at the moment that’ll be needing some, not in any rush so figured it might be worth a punt. We’ll see!

Nothing wrong with this. But respectfully this does require the disposable income to not be an issue. 

For instance I don’t “need” these ESC’s. But will find them handy and a use for them. But there is no rush. Two of them have cost me a no risk £12 and as long as they work to the right specs. Being genuine or not doesn’t really matter. 

Modelsport are what £18 each plus postage. Two of them would be just shy of £45 all in. Which I feel is a fairly significant difference.

There is a lot of down time. New year, Chinese New Year, boat festivals, flag festivals and so on. If you buy from China regularly it’s all part of the experience. 

I’ve bought loads over the past few years. LED torches and equipment, penknives, and RC model stuff, usually helicopters, quads and planes. By and large most stuff has been fine. But occasionally it isn’t. But that’s why using PayPal or similar is always a very good idea.

I've spent a fair bit with Otley Modelsport over the past 30+ years, but a 1060 at just over £6! Tbh, I was dubious about the £3.50 3s lipo's, and they turned up 🙄

Looking like we are all 1in 500 😂

I have not left feedback, going to order a 1060 today from elsewhere.

Will the 1060 run a motor the same speed as a 860 runs 2?

It's for my 6x6, I have the hobbywing dual brushed ESC and need a lipo compatible single motor wp ESC.

No tracking update since 11:34pm January 28, slated for flight CZ303 departing at 09:30 (presumably the next day).

Question; have we all got different tracking numbers, or is the seller bulk shipping to a distribution centre in the UK? My tracking number is  UG140098840CN.

I got a different tracking number but I bought mine on 25th Jan and is expected 12th March... you cannot file any type of “did not receive” claim until that date, Ebay will automatically tell you it’s not applicable yet.

Fwiw my new fleaBay app ('cos old faithful ancient version finally got canned last week, RIP) don't seem to do tracking anymore... but what seller has entered is showing:

well looks like it caught a China Eastern plane MU727 which is a daily sched Nanjing to Sydney so I guess it's headed in the right direction after all
