Want something 3d modeled for shapeways.

I am working on a crawler and I want a 1/10 scale basset hound I can paint up to look like my dog. 

Can anyone help me?

That's not modelling, that's sculpting  Nothing found on Thingiverse but yeah, imho it's not that easy to draw a dog in 3D.

My usual route is to first visit my local Schleich dealer..

methinks they're a bit small for 1/10, more like 1/12 but some breeds look ok not too missized

Where did you find that?   I looks on their web site and a basset wasn't listed.

7cm Introduced: 1995;  Retired: 1997

Seems to resell for crazy $$$ thesadays.

Schleich feels more realistic & better painted than Papo imho from what I've held in local shops, Papo less range & slightly cheaper. 

There's some Chinese knockoffs too (nobody's surprised) though I'm no expert whose sculpts they've copied. Little doggie figures, often sold as a family set with accessories in the cheap toystores.
