Worst car program ever?

Recommended Posts

Wheeler Dealers used to be awesome, its become a parody of itself I still watch it though because I like watching old cars get done up. But the thing that really annoys me is mike doing things, stop it you fat sweaty twat!

Got around to checking out some Edd-less Wheeler Dealers... hey it's not too bad :) Ant does a decent job of the role, gotta give him that.

Grand Tour is nice, but also starting to accept The Joey Show too - the latest season is watchable :D

Harris bores me to tears and Rory just seams to be there to for the sake of being there, he is totally forgettable.  Like last week it's like they made to show and went crap we forgot to give Rory anything to do.  So we will black out the windows in a Swift and Fiesta and get him to race them in reverse,

It would be a lot funnier if Rory got made to wear a red racesuit every show and... well, y'know... startrek...  ...hehehe

But c'mon, compared compared to the carp scattered around other channels like stupid Bachelor mating or Cooking pron or home Reno or good lord is Apprentice & Survivor still going?!!? OFF OFF OFF hit the OFF SWITCH for mercy!

Cop Car Workshop on Dave.

On paper it's exactly my sort of programme.  Under the skin of specialist police vehicles : building, testing and repairing everything from panda's to ARV's, motorbikes and trucks.

But they've decided to add a 'comedy' narrator, and focus mainly on the typical fat idiot boss who thinks he's Peter Kay but is much closer to David Brent.

Best watched on demand, so you can fast-forward through the painfully-naff bits.

I’m not familiar with some of the shows you guys speak of as I’m in the states.

I loved every episode of overhaulin. I would get teary at the reveal every time.  I like the restomod look and sure they rushed on a few cars but theycame up with some nice stuff

Couldnt hardly stand American hot rod as Boyd was first class jerk to hi employees. It’s apparent that Karma took care of things

been watching *****in rides and they do a great work. However the stupid stuff between Dave and Kevin grows tiring.

yeah Dave & Kev should just hire a room & do their (female dog)ing in there, spare the airwaves

current fave is Diesel Brothers... sure they're into oversized crazy unpractical trucks, just like a Bruiser B) what's there not to love??

uhoh ok I have just found a car show that's borderline unwatchable  it's hosted by Aaron Kaufman (ex Gas Monkey Garage fame) who's spunoff his own show. First Ep consisted of scavenging a perfectly decent International Scout for just a few panels to build a offroad crawler  but jeez... show director is carp, the crew's enthusiasm is a perky as a dried scallop and it's now darned certain Azza wasn't the figure that made Fast&Loud successful.

Christ, Edd China could start a cooking show & still be more watchable

There were rumours floating about, not about a cooking show, but teaming up with Colin Furze! 👍

what about the series with mark evans them ones i enjoyed watching

  • A Car Is Born (build of an AC Cobra replica) - 15 episodes
  • A Plane Is Born (build of a 200 mph kit aeroplane) - 15 episodes
  • A Car Is Reborn (total restoration of an E Type Jaguar) - 15 episodes
  • A Chopper Is Born (build of a kit, two-seater helicopter) - 15 episodes
  • A Bike Is Born - Harley (restoration of a Harley WLC45) - 5 episodes
  • A Bike Is Born - Bonneville (restoration of a Triumph Bonneville T120R) - 5 episodes
  • A Bike Is Born - Trike (build of a Boom Power Trike) - 5 episodes
  • A Race Car Is Born (build of a Westfield race car) - 15 episodes
  • A 4x4 Is Born (build of an extreme off-road Land Rover) - 15 episodes
  • An MG Is Born (restoration of an MGB Roadster) - 10 episodes

I loved those series’!

i really like Mark Evans, i think he was passionate about each and all of those builds.

I have to agree with what was said above - the Bernie and Mario one was dreadful as was Sin City Motors, where nothing actually happened.

I don’t have the time to watch these types of programmes any more, plus i don’t have Sky now so i don’t bother with them. Project Binky is the only one worth watching, those guys blow EVERYONE out the water.

Finished all caught up on latest series of Grand Tour (no more tent?) & Top Gear (no more Joey!?), so went sniffing around for more car-related small screen fluff :)

found:-

Shed & Buried... hey this isn't too bad watching. Bit like American Pickers merged with original Wheeler Dealers

Flipping Bangers... wow this is probably the best WD replacement by far!!
