Hello,

i would love to use 2 Superstock BZ Motors in my Wild Dagger (Zero timed).

Therefore i´m using a Hobbywing Quicrun 860 WP for Dualmotors.

Akwardly my Dagger just runs in walkingspeed...

If i Change the Motors back to the normal Silvercans everything runs perfectly and the ESC is doing it`s Job.

Im using normal 7,2 v NiMh or NiCd Stickbatteries.

I Would love to use These Moros either in my Wild Dagger or in my Clodbuster.

Superstock has advanced timing so one motor is faster in forwards. As the other motor runs in reverse. This motor has retarded timing. You need motors with 0 timing. It shifts on standard silver cans with a 3s lipo.

You can time the Super Stock Motors, so i timed all my Super Stock Motors to Zero.

To the Batteries:

I do not have LiPos and i can`t use LiPos

The Batteries are stored in a wooden cabin in the Woods and the Temperatures in Winter are often several degrees below 0° Celsius.

(I don`use this Weekendhouse every Weekend....)

That doesn`t solve my Problem.

The local Hobbyshopguy says that my Piniongear could be to big (to much teeth), if it runs with Silvercans it has to run with super stock BZ Motors (zero timed).

I think maybe the Battery is not able to provide enough Power for the Super Stock Motors.

Maybe the Super Stock Motor draws much more Power than the Silvercans and because the Battery needs to power 2 Motors there is much to less Juice.....

Has anyone have an Idea?

I really would love to use Super Stock BZ Motors in my Wild Dagger or even in my Clodbuster.

Hi,

Firstly, have you checked each of the super stock motors runs ok on its own. You can use the 860 for one motor to test it and I would also advise testing on another single motor ESC?

Hi,

my Dagger runs normal nowdays.

Even i use 0 timed superstocks, the Truck is not very fast. Faster than silvercans but not as fast as a Lunchbox or Hornet with a Sport tuned....

Also i have a real issue with the Dragbrake. There is no "freerunning" with the Hobbywing ESC. Is there a Setting to cancle the Dragbrake?

My Dagger is not a crawler, it should be a Monstertruck.

Timing:

To make the Dagger a bit faster, how much Timing would be ok?

I,m able to set timing in both directions on each motor, but i set them to 0 Degrees.

Are you running on LiPo or NiMh? 2S or 3S?

I'm just waiting on 2 pinions to run my Dagger on an 880 ESC, this isn't filling me with confidence!

How do you have the small switches arranged next to the capacitors? Is it set up for F/B/R? The 860 also has a specific 'Crawler' mode.

I thought the drag brake was only in the for/rev setting, and wasn't used the the for/br/rev setting? Or if it was, very weak.

I run normal 6 Cell NiMhs with it.

Ok, i must missed on Step while setting it up.

I must set it into the Crawler Mode. Even if i only remember 2 Modes on my ESC "Boat" and "Car".

But on the website they claim that the ESC has 4 modes.

F/Rev, F/Br/Rev, Crawler and Boat
