Hits me like a Blitzer Beetle.

There is usually a bit of float in the axles. I certainly need to shim behind the wheel hex on all my cars to reduce the slop on the axle. If you took this slop out with a 5mm internal diameter shim on the inside instead this would improve the outdrives insertion.

I am done with the 3Racing DT02/03 universal shafts and ordered the dogbone/hardened outdrives/axles version. I had the Blitzer with me on holiday (yes, beach!) and after one or two runs the shafts jumped out and turned over the outdrives. That sounds nasty.

I bent two m6 spring washers and shimmied :D the outdrives, the mash to the transmission kept the load and holiday run was rescued.
