SOLD: Tamiya Buggy Champ 2009

The time has come for me to move my beloved Buggy Champ 2009, and so I offer it for sale:

This model and I have seen a lot of action together. It still runs, and is mechanically complete, minus the steering rod boot. The switch cover is a homemade piece. It has been fitted with the SRB ball differential, as well as an aftermarket alloy chassis plate.

It is worth considering that there may be some difficulty opening the gearbox due to corroding screws, and the Tamtech GB-01 Aeration Dampers that have been fitted to this car require attention. The spotlights that were once on the shell are long-gone to the adventures this car has seen. The ball differential will require some adjustment. I have been unable to tune this car since the last of my special SRB batteries expired.

I will ask for $250 CAD posted to the U.K., and $270 CAD with tracking; at today's exchange rate, that should come out to roughly 145 GBP and 155 GBP, respectively. That money will get you a buggy that, with a little bit of work, will run, and will surely put a smile on your face like the one that was plastered on mine when I first built and ran it. It was my first off-road car, after all. But times change...
