Will a HPI Datsun 510 body fit on Tamiya M-07 Chassis?

Hello,

Can I fit a HPI Datsun 510 body onto a Tamiya M-07 chassis? Both have 225mm wheelbase. The HPI body is around 165mm wide.

I have the body but I'm not sure if it fit over the mechanicals of the M-07 chassis because the bonnet and boot may be too shallow.

A Datsun 510 has a pretty squared off front and rear end, they don’t dip or slant downwards so I’d guess it would fit easily.

I’ve got an ABC Hobby Datsun 510 body but it’s a 210mm wheelbase version sat on an ABC Gambado Chassis, but it will easily fit on my M03 if that helps at all?

Thank you for your reply. I didn't realise that there was a four door version of the Datsun 510 available.

Would you be so kind as to post a few pictures of your Datsun on it's chassis?

Ah it’s got different body post holes so I can’t photo it fitted properly but it will fit an M03 for sure

Unfortunately, the M-07 chassis does not suuport the 210mm wheelbase any more.
