Has anyone heard of anything about Radshape RC in terms of it closing. I saw a post on Facebook that suggests it. I submitted a contact us query a few days ago asking about stock for specific items and haven't heard back.

Anyone get anything from them recently?

Thanks!

Thanks guys. What a shame...Hope they turn out fine in the end. The person that mentioned this on facebook said that radshape contacted him and said they are going out of business but will be selling off all stock but that the website is not accurate in terms of what they have.

I'm looking to purchase their boomerang/hs shock conversions.....any alternatives?

Perhaps I'll try their ebay shop...

They look to be in stock on the ebay shop  but I've ordered from their website before and they subtract  the VAT ( tax) for international orders.

i would say that the current location at aston was just to try and sell the left over stuff from the minworth branch.but if their is no customers to cover bills they have closed this location aswell but still useing  ebay to try and get rid of whats left over

Radshape are a metalwork engineering company rather than being a dedicated RC parts manufacturer, I get the feeling that it was quite easy for them to produce these parts but it was run/managed by a single individual in the business who had an interest in RC and saw a way to combine this interest with their work. If this individual has left the business, or other projects are earning the business more money, I can easily see why it may now be winding down.

I had high hopes that they be coming up with some more parts after buying a WR02 Jimmy off them last year that appears to have only been box opened to measure up various parts in the kit. Sadly no dice.

So...the ebay site has the front conversion kit but not the rear....I tried to see if I could paypal checkout on their website but the link to PP seems broken. Too bad...

Any other conversion options for the hotshot?

Can you not fit the Boomerang or Big Wig parts to make it twin shock? Same gearbox, and boomer is an evolution of the hot shot chassis

Not sure..Was counting on the radshape hopups so now doing research on other options. It looks like the boomerang/bigwig parts need modding because of the toe in. Very open to suggestions but not much pops up on research so far (except radshape). Surprising actually. Maybe MIP will do something?? :o

Best thing would be to start a new thread asking specifically about it on the Vintage forum. Someone on here will know for sure.
