This is the Neo Scorcher that I built from spare parts for my girlfriend. She based the color scheme off of the original with the top part a different color than the bottom. I masked it, and she painted it using Tamiya PS61 Metallic Orange and PS35 Blue Violet. Now, she's looking for some stickers/decals for it. She doesn't want to follow box art, and is open to any ideas of any type of graphics. We've searched online, and there aren't many choices outside of sponsor decals that we can find. The best choices we found were the Tamiya logos from TamiyaUSA. Any suggestions or ideas off the top of your head?

Hello Kitty stickers..... possibly some My little pony ones too... like a cool Rainbow Dash decal.... you know the usual racing decals.

That strikes me as a bit sexist, but then, bronies are a thing... I still really hope you made that suggestion because of the colours and not because you heard the car is for a woman to drive.

I would have just gone with some custom Terra Scorcher decals from that well-known reproduction company, since they now offer custom colours which can better complement the blue-and-orange scheme.

Lol, how old do you think she is? :P:D

Never too old to like ponies..... ps my 4yr old loves them

And I’m not a Bronie but their show is funny and pretty well written.

As far as it being sexist.... could be I said it because it’s for a female, but there are also pro bikers who have them on their helmets etc.... so take it as you will

My 8 year old son loves rainbow dash. She would be on his car if we had the stickers.

Think the beetle I am building for daughter will be MLP themed.

Built from spares?! You’ve too many spares lol.

As for colours then I would go to MCI and tweak the colour scheme to suit.

+1 on MCI if you are any good on a PC you could scan and edit the original decals and have them printed.

Good idea. Didn't even think of that.

How about random graphic lines?

Wow. I couldn't find any of those. I must have been searching for the wrong things. Thanks for the choices.

She says no offence taken at all. She found the MLP suggestion funny, but it doesn't do it for her. Appreciate you sticking up for her, and I can see how it could be taken that way, but I know @iluvmud means well. We did say open to any ideas of any type, so all is good.

We're going to explore the reproduction stickers idea further to see how that works.

Neither of us have ever watched My Little Pony, so we don't know much about it. When I was a kid, My Little Pony came on after He-Man, and that was usually my cue to go outside and play, lol.

Almost out of spares now, lol. I had about 80% in spares to build the chassis. I had to get some parts sprues and a body set for the rest. Then, I went back and added metal driveshaft, ball bearing steering, bearings, rear FRP shock tower, 3Racing oil shocks, and Tamiya turnbuckle kit. I had a spare HPI Firebolt that I wasn't using and put it in there. I actually like this one better than the first one I built that's full of Yeah Racing blue bling.  Funny thing is, now that I have built this one, I need a couple parts to convert my first one back from the blue bling.

Another like for the tweaked MCI stickers.

I don't have the original stickers to scan, but will be looking into MCI a little more. Thanks.

Don’t forget to put Maud on there.... yeah maybe I watch them with her too much lol

Rainbow dash seems to be the most popular with the kids, but from an adult perspective flutter shy and maid have the best lines in the show (things only adults would catch).

Personally, I'm a fan of a nice uncluttered two-tone paint job. I would add a tape stripe over the dividing line between the colors (white or silver), put a Tamiya logo on the wing, paint her name in tiny letters by the driver's window, and call it a day.

How about some ant-trump, or anti-gun stickers?

This sounds like an excellent idea. You could even get the tiny name labels printed if you liked. A lot of places on eBay offer this service for little cost.

Kingfisher, PM me your address and I'll send you a bunch of extras/cutoffs/unique stuff the two of you can sift through.  I have a ton of partial decal sheets from other builds, maybe something will appeal to you.
