Tamiya 84057 - Black Porsche

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Just checking that I'm not putting up an unrealistic price for the item I have for sale? I have been away for the scene for about 3-4 years now, so haven't a clue about prices.

On ebay, they are listed at upto $1300 - but they never sell. So I thought £345 seemed about right from what I could glean from sold listings..

Without being seriously interessed in buying one but i'd say 300Euro is a real bargain while 1300$ is wishful thinking. I'd say at 345£ you're pretty alright:-)

Thanks everyone, your replies are most appreciated!

I have a NIB Vintage Bruiser up for sale soon. I have a horrible feeling I paid over £1000 for it a few years back, but they aren't worth that now?

I bet they are, and well over at that. Some people want a model that was actually on the shelf in the eighties, to say nothing of the novelty value of the big motor the reissue doesn't have.

Given that reissue Avante black specials have sold for a thousand, I find it very hard to believe a vintage Bruiser wouldn't be worth rather more.

Even the reissue Mountain Rider went for almost that from Tamico recently.
