It’s been a couple of years since I’ve bought any servos.

What would you recommend for my Lunchbox, ideally good value and robust please.

Il’ll probably run it with the 1060 ESC it came with a torque tuned motor and a cheap 2.4ghz radio set.

Thank you

I have been using the cheapest Hobbyking ones in pretty much everything and haven't broken one yet. Not the fastest or most powerful but they seem great for general purpose use.

They are almost absurdly cheap but I've had zero issues with them, fast enough, strong enough, durable enough and they centre accurately and consistently. They are actually cheaper than some of the clone servos on ebay!

For something a bit tougher, the MG996 from TowerPro gets a lot of praise. Lookout for the genuine though, there's a lot of fakes "toward pro" etc around and apparently they can be a bit dodgy in terms of centering etc.

I can't get enough of those Hobbyking ones though!

Awesome info guys, thank you.

All great tips and having the links in there as well made it very easy to compare and choose as too.

I really appreciate the help.
