I am looking to get a 959 runner to go with a newly acquired NIB example and was looking to get some upgrades. Got some 620 bearings arriving but was also looking at these two items: Toyota Celica Gr.B Stabilizer Set (50322) & Toyota Celica Gr.B Center Differential Set (50323).

Does anyone know what differance these make? I am looking to run it on packed dirt and dusty road type surfaces. Not racing anyone, just sliding the car about and having fun. Are these two upgrades going to give me 'entertaining' handeling? [;)]

Cheers

The stabilizer is using metalic bits that are attached between the lower front arm and the suspension pivot ball. Hence the pivot ball is "less" screwed onto the arm.

I think the Celica diff will make the car turn better.

I drove my 959 with a 14x2 15 years back. All I know the wont steer on pavement. A center diff will prevent this.

Do not use the sway bar.
