i want to fill in the gap on my grand hauler between the fuel tank and the rear fender.

the gap is around 3'1/2 inch and i want to use another fuel tank but i need to know what the sizes of the different fuel tanks are on other trucks so i choose one to use.

i dont want to use alloy tanks as i will need to buy 4 to get the match and that will cost to much so i want to use tamiya kit tanks.

What size are the tanks on the GH ?

Have a feeling the tanks on the King Hauler / Grand Hauler & Globe Liner are the same size.

the grand hauler fuel tank is 4.1/2 inch long and it sit's just past the smoke stack so another one of the same wont be any use so you could say the overhaul length is 8 inch. know if there is one that is around that size i could use that instead. or two 4 inch tanks

I've been thinking about filling in the gap with a third axle as I plan to pull a lowboy trailer.  Every time I see a lowboy on the freeway it seems like it has three axles on the trailer, and the tractor has three as well.

OK, just got my King Hauler & Globe Liner out and measured the tanks.

Globe Liner 100mm

King Hauler 115mm

Guess you live and learn.

whats the link for that box

That was just a google image picture bud. Thought it might give you options/ ideas if the fuel tanks don’t work out. But would be a scratch build.

Ice pack air con’s are common place items for trucks in hot countries. Nowadays there are also smaller tanks for adblue and hydraulic oil tanks to run PTO’s for pumps etc.

The link for the air tanks though, that seller on eBay does a whole load of accessories for the Tamiya trucks ( and SRB’s! ) I got my nudge bar from him.
