DaveB 151 Posted March 24, 2018 Hi I've recently bought a NIB Egress 2013 and a NIB Dynatech 01R to give it that more period look, I'm just wondering what would be the right period Servo for this, ideally what was used in the catalogue image (would it be a Futaba). Any advice much appreciated.
ThunderDragonCy 7777 Posted March 24, 2018 Its likely to have been ACOMS but i couldn't say for sure.
WillyChang 1812 Posted March 24, 2018 By the time they showed the CPR P100/160f in their cars they've moved to Futaba-made servos... TP-S148 ?
DaveB 151 Posted March 24, 2018 1 hour ago, futureworks said: Whether it’s Acoms or not (unlikely in my opinion), if you did want to put in a period correct Acoms servo, you can check out what radio gear they were selling at around the time of the original June 1989 release date - see this very useful article: https://tamiyabase.com/forum/forum/11-technical/3503-acoms-2-channel-stick-radio-evolution.html looks like AS7 to AS11. That's really interesting, thanks for the link
svenb 3735 Posted March 24, 2018 I would have thought a Tamiya TS-S3003 would suit it nicely, the TP-S148 would be quite difficult to find now ,not impossible though.
