markbt73 5290 Posted April 11, 2018 Absolutely not an Optima Mid. I don't know what it is, but I've rebuilt a couple of Mids, and that's not one. Gearbox housings are all wrong. Not Yokomo either... almost looks like a hacked-up AYK Radiant... except those were chain-drive.
iluvmud 812 Posted April 11, 2018 Yeah the electric one Ive seen before, the eyes in the front bumper gives away the model but for the life of me right now Im drawing a blank.
bsy2010 218 Posted April 11, 2018 This is driving me nuts, I know I have seen the electric buggy recently... At first I thought it was a Robbe Geronimo, but it isn't
WillyChang 1812 Posted April 11, 2018 thought I've seen that bumper before Nikko Dictator II ... but not the rest of the car though.
a.w.k. 664 Posted April 11, 2018 The electric buggy is a MRC (French company), the competition version MRC MRX Competition 4x4 related to their Santana i think https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=44933&id=297 and the radioplate is from a Kyosho Sonic Sports, painted yellow to match the MRX/Santanas yellow steering levers. The bumper is of course from a Nikko Dictator....a.parts bin very special...... but complete vintage and rare...

a.w.k. 664 Posted April 11, 2018 the nitro car should be a panda / thundertiger car, mostly sold with the Danny Thompson Stadium Racer body: https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=125764&id=15829 https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=91777
