I have just bought a used M-06 Lowride Pumpkin and I have discovered it has a 19t pinion on the motor, which is obviously wrong. I have checked the other gears and they look undamaged.

I don't really want the standard Tamiya Aluminium pinion gear but want to stay at 16t. Would this RW pinion be suitable ?

If not any suggestions would be appreciated.

Many Thanks for any help.

yes 06mod

Hello mate. Thanks for answering. Sorry for my ignorance, but is the RW pinion all I need to use with the stock gears in the Lowride ?

Yes anything "06mod" = metric = what you want :)

Just double check your manual &/or the car as to which # of teeth you can use... I thought the RWDs (M-0evens) use odds pinion & the FWDs use evens... or is it the other way round... ahh haven't opened any M06 or M05 many yrs.

Definitely AVOID anything "standard/imperial" or noted as "48dp" or even 32/64dp etc, they're not metric.

if ever anyone says "48dp metric"... AVOID THAT LOSER LIKE THE PLAGUE! :angry:

@WillyChang   The manual says 16t, 18t or 20t, so I've ordered a 16t.

Thank you very much for your help and advice once again.

I'm off to watch the Commonwealth games now.

Have a great weekend :D
