Land Cruiser 40 series light buckets

can anyone tell if the light buckets from either the cr-01 or cc-01 Land Cruiser 40 series body shell will fit the gf-01 shortened Land Cruiser 40 series body shell?

g'day  well looks like nobody else knows to have answered yet so I got my butt around to pulling the subjects in for a comparing

short answer = no

firstly there's significant size difference, like 20% (86mm vs 107mm across chrome bit) 

then the longer shell's chrome surround is separately molded piece bolted/clamped on with the buckets behind whereas stubby shell is all lexan

imho no point trying to use those buckets, you might as well just custom make some or find another donor

rears don't even need comparing, round vs rectangular

thanks very much for the info. I already have the cr-01 version and thinking of getting the GF-01 version for one of my sons, and both of the like having lights, so custom buckets it is.
