Sold - Tamiya F103/F104 Hybrid with hop ups

Recommended Posts

I bought this from fellow TC'er Percymon (Via Prescient) about 5 months ago...

"This one started life as a F103 Ferrari that I bought with broken front wing and a shell fit only or the bin.

It received a full strip down and clean, and was rebuilt with all the following ..

New F104 wheels and rubber tyres
New adjustable gear case parts
New carbon drive shaft
New alloy diff parts
New diff rings
New Tamiya long carbon fibre top deck
New D parts for the battery holders
New hop-up alloy body posts
New friction damper
New 3 Racing alloy shock absorber/damper
New RD Kingpin set
New reinforced front axles

New 0.4Mod RM spur gear

New shell painted metallic white with Tamiya 'flag' draped over the top

New front wing (no rear wing included)

Hobby king servo"

I will remove the radio receiver so please ignore that from the photo's below,  but I will leave the Tamiya TEU-101BK ESC and Silvercan motor with pinion, the current gearing is 104t spur and 22t pinion.

You only need to add a radio to get it moving.

Wish you'd posted this a couple of weeks ago - that's a great price! Makes me feel a right numpty for having blown two months' hobby budget on restoring a F103 basket case when I could have bought this for less...

Anyway, I'll forward this to my mate. He's been in the market for a competitive F103, and they don't come much better specced than this!

@Carts it runs great .... yes you just buy a rear wing for about £11-£12 iirc for a F103

@TurnipJF sorry pal only recently decided to purge some cars.. I like looking at this on the shelf but the funds can go towards something I can actually drive down the park with my little one chasing it.
