Ive got the normal dark grey sponge ones that come in long strips in my XV01 rally blocks - pretty sure the kit came with them. I join the ends together with a strip of selotape as Ive had the separate before in a glued wheel leaving a mishapen soft spot on the tyre.

As you can see on the Photo, the wheelstance are not wide enough for that Body:

Now, i want to widen it with wider wheelhubs.

But i don`t have the model at Hand, so i can`t measure it out....

Does anyone know what wheelhubs i should buy?

There are 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm and 12mm Hubs

What would be the Maximum without bringing too much stress to the Axle??

Ithink i should use wider ones in the Back.

10mm hexes combined with TG10 long axles ought to do the trick. 11mm hexes could also work, but you may need low profile or serrated wheel nuts depending on how broad your current ones are, as they may not leave enough axle protruding to reach the nylock portion.

When i look at the Photo, the Axle thread is not showing more than 1mm thread when i have the standard Nyloc Nuts on them.

Do low profile Nuts hold up? Than i would search for them, because i think they would look much nicer.

@Truck Norris

What Kind of Low Profile Nutsdid you use in your Delta Build?

I found "Team Associated 92254 FT Nuts M4 Low Profile Wheel Nut". But i don't know if they would fit and the shippingcosts are between 15 and 20 Dollars....

These, M4 size: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222525332328

They aren't nylock so you'd need to run two on each axle to ensure they didn't come undone if you were running the car. There's also Tamiya 53448 but I'm not sure if that's just the same thing with some spacers included.

Ok, so you use the just for shelfers? Your cars look stunning.

I also want a more realistic look, but maybe 2 of theese Nuts aren't wat i want maybe i order theese m4 associated Nuts and hope that they'll hold.

I mean is 4m the right thredsize? Diameterwise not lenghtwise :D

but it is good to know that the thread is 9mm long, so i assume that i could use 8mm in the Front and 10 mm Wheel hexes in the back when i use the associated low profile 4m Wheelnuts.

right? (Or totally wrong?)

Can you link this low profile wheel nuts please?

Basicly those (TLR & TA) are the same, you agree? What I dont like too much is, that they "bite" into the rims. But of course somehow they need to be locked... I think I will get some as well also, its definitly worth to have them in the screw box.

So, i put my Photos in here too.

I installed 9mm hexes for the wheels in my Lancia and 8mm ones in the Toyota. It makes quite a difference, but i think i can use 10mm hexes on the Lancia, because the wheelnuts will allow 1 mm more, i think 11mm would be to much.

Rather than buy new hexes a M4 x 1 mm thick washer can be used between the hex and the wheel to check dimensions.

A good tip that. Washers are great for mock-ups so that you know which hexes to order and if alternative wheel nuts are needed.
