Thanks for that.  Just checked that out and it looks like they ship here too, but unfortunately out of stock.  I've emailed them so hopefully they will make more.  Couldn't find anything on ebay, does anyone know if hobby shops stock them?  I've found places like Fusion and Timetunnel and Amain and TQ really good but can't find the stock anywhere.

Ordered and the funny thing is its cheaper for me to buy it amd have it shipped to New Zealand than if I lived in the UK. I'm not sure anyone else will find that funny, maybe Darat, Blista, Berman...

That’s tax for you! Could this lead to many more orders from Modelsport?! Crazy to think of parts / kits traversing the globe! I bought mine from Modelsport (I’m in the UK) to avoid customs charges buying direct from MIP.

Currently we have a tax free threshold of $50 total duty, so that can be GST (15%, you guys call it VAT) and then the odd item which still attracts tariffs.  So any order below about $330 is usually safe.  If you get caught though fess get added so its the GST amount plus another $45 or so.  I haven't been caught in ages though, I don't think our customs service cares that much.  Our govt has just talked about forcing overseas vendors to charge GST which worries me, not because of the 15% extra but because it may mean a bunch of vendors just stop shipping here as its too hard.  We get ripped off on so many things here, like bullet connectors are about $5 each from a shop, or $1 each including shipping from Banggood.

We don't save that much buying offshore when its top of the line gear, like my Orca stuff I just got was basically the same price from RCMart or locally, but when its cheap commodity stuff like wire, multimeters etc we suffer.

And it could lead to more orders, after buying from Fusion and Timetunnel I always check there if I'm looking for stuff, so Modelsport is on the list too.
