That is nice. Not sure what the Ford bit is about, though, as the engine represented on the car in the case clearly has twelve cylinders, meaning it has the Matra V12 engine. Matra did build Ford DFV-powered F1 cars, but this would not seem to be one of them. That said, the accuracy of the model is questionable and does not seem to represent any V12-powered model I have seen. The rear wing would suggest it was an MS120, but the front end looks a bit more like an MS11.

The sports car on the instructions looks like a Can Am car, but it doesn't resemble any I know of. It is closest to the Ferrari 712, but it seems the designer took a few liberties with the bodywork.

The body of my model is Robbe Ford Matra D2 and its original, the Porsche is Robbe D3, (never seen) both made in Germany. I think this model was made in USA in the 70th too. Look suspension

car robbe Ford Matra. Some Details of the car, rear wing and engine V12 parts is a work of the modeler in the past. Chassis, body and construction manual is original. My model will be

printed in magazine cars & details next time - it gets a full page in the magazine. When its published I advise it. This model is one of the oldest rc-models, you will never find it

on ebay, regards from germany, Stephan (Lou Segas)

Ah, thank you for that clarification. What you suggest makes a lot of sense. It is a beautiful model and good luck with the magazine article!
