Hello all

As title - are there any active members on here from somewhere in the Czech Republic? 

The reason i ask is that a few years ago (2012/13) i managed to find a 1:10, 190mm wide Fabia WRC shell complete with decals being sold by profimodel.cz. I bought it for my FF01 chassis and painted it blue to match my Fabia vRS SE. I'm now looking for another shell to finish in WRC livery but when i contacted profimodel they told me they didn't have any in stock and couldn't remember the manufacturer - they suggested contacting pelikandaniel to see if they had any in stock. They told me that they didn't know the model, have never sold it and that it was maybe made by a small local firm.

Can anyone help me track one down? I can post pictures of the shell and decals if required.

I know Tamiya make an M-chassis size body but i'm looking for a full TC size if i can get one. I wish i had bought a few back then, as i was considering doing so, to sell on the Briskoda site.

ETA: I can't even remember how i found it back then, i spent ages trawling through pages and pages of photos, possibly a local RC group in Mlada Boleslav.

After having no luck tracking down the body i'm after i gave up for a while but now i have a 4x4 rally chassis in need of a shell i've started looking again. I found three photos on Google images of the shell i have but when i click on the page for each i'm not sure what is being said about them as it's a ll in Czech. If i can figure out how to translate the page and sign up to the forum then i might give that a try. I actually think one of the photos is a link to an old for sale advert so that might be no use.

nice cars, I have a regular vRS mk1, no tinted windows or sunroof but yes to the rest.

Hello, I just registered week ago and now I noticed your topic

Skoda shells in the past were made by Airdesign. It was just some sort of minor bussines, since their main bussines is acessory for real cars. Their bodies disappeared years ago and it's uncertain if they ever appear again.

Now some limited amounts of Skoda bodies are made by local clubs, but it's mostly recent Fabia variant, not 1.gen WRC.

Thanks for the reply -that's a good bit of useful information. Its a pity they're so hard to find now, is there any local forum you could suggest that i sign up to and see if anyone has one for sale?

This one is only active I have found. RC forums in CZ are dead nowadays, most of people migrated to facebook. You can try local RC rally groups on fcb (brno, tabor, safaricup etc.), they might help you.

Nah, the Colt one is for an m-chassis, the one i have already is a full TC at 190 x 257mm wheelbase. Thanks though.
