Any CR-01 exports able to give me advice on improving the turning circle please ? Before I make a mess of it ....

The BTA (behind the axle) steering mod apparently fixes Ackerman and improves your steering:

The 4WS isn’t complicated at all, the parts were all included with the the kit & it shows you how to do it in the instructions. You just need to buy a second servo & servo saver (high torque for both is really needed though). 

It makes a massive difference to the turning circle. You can just use a Y lead for the two servos if you don’t want to bother about trick RC gear.

Andy many thanks unfortunately I don’t have the original parts I’ll look into what I need to buy to follow the instructions.
