Is it that good? My fellow friend commented this vehicle is superb, especially with all hop up parts and Proline Transmission.

How can they say this is a great car without any anti roll bar?

Anti roll bars don't mean much, I took them off my Lazer to run on dirt, they are a setup tool.

To me the Bandit looks like it will be fine as a basher but its an outdated car. It has a rear motor which isn't seen on race tracks these days except in vintage classes. Low grip setup is usually a midmount standup transmission, with high grip a laydown transmission with the motor further forward.

I have never owned a Traxxes but hear that they are pretty robust cars. A few guys at one of my clubs run them but my Kyosho 10th scale racers outclass them easily.

If it needs upgrades then you could buy a decent race package for the same money, check out the Team Associated RC10 B6 club deal.

Similar money to the Traxxes but lightyears ahead and it looks to be the race kit so should be really durable.

Really it comes down to what you want to do with it. I have TT02B which are great bashers for my son and his friends, through to race kits which are great fun at the track, horses for courses

I've ordered Serpent SRX-2 MH 2WD for tracks last week, and consider another car for bashing.

I might get the serpent SDX-4 as both team losi and Serpent are my favourite companies.
