78Triumph 2610 Posted April 16, 2019 Some more changes happening. I decided to re-route some of the rally sections and terrace the hill a little more to prevent washouts and provide more spots for crawling sections. The rally course will wrap and wind around a little more. Hard to describe but you'll see it progress. Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Untitled by Joe, on Flickr rally section will be re-routed into the grass area in this photo: Untitled by Joe, on Flickr More dwarf trees will live in this area with rocks and a terraced path for the trail section. Untitled by Joe, on Flickr stay tuned!
78Triumph 2610 Posted April 17, 2019 Still gathering up more rocks! Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Scored a couple of monsters today! These were too big for my VW so I borrowed my fathers truck to move them. Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Got the big whiter colored rock (my guess is it's granite, but I could be wrong) into place and transplanted some moss around it to get it started. Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Stay tuned...!

78Triumph 2610 Posted April 24, 2019 Wow Great Scale Landscaping! Love that you have a rally track also... All nice rigs as well! Thanks! I started making a mix of peat moss and really course sand to spread over the layout and let fill in the cracks and gaps between some of the rocks. I like the look of it too. Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Things are really greening up! I love this time of year! by Joe, on Flickr Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Plenty more to come. I'm re-routing a small section of the rally stage so I'll be working on that soon too. It's so nice not to be trapped inside anymore from the winter!

78Triumph 2610 Posted April 28, 2019 One more step closer to hiding the propane tank! Three foot dwarf Alberta Spruce half off at Lowes today. Take that propane tank!! Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Untitled by Joe, on Flickr 5
Stefan(2) 89 Posted April 28, 2019 I agree that this area requiring a railroad.. Must transport the building materials in scale and style ! Could also use the tank.. box it up, make a scale building out of it Like.. a garage.. or.. a water tank for the soon-to-come railroad. Way back had a backyard track to https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=14886&id=1546 No longer exists .. the bunny's ( Flap and Stinkie ) roam there now.
78Triumph 2610 Posted May 8, 2019 Started working on a building that I'm thinking I'll make to look like an old mining cabin. It's been raining a lot so this is a good garage project. Just using short brad nails and wood glue for the frame with some 3/8ths poplar. 78Triumph 2610 Posted May 29, 2019 Still tinkering away on the cabin structure. Untitled by Joe, on Flickr I decided I need to make a miniature gnome home/fairy house to include for my daughter so I came up with this. Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Untitled by Joe, on Flickr I've also been working on this section that will wind back up and meet the rally section. I'm using small pine logs that have already been weathered to look like fallen trees across the trail.
