What part of NJ are you in? I grew up in Monmouth County. I'm about an hour north of Monmouth County. Manasquan Inlet is my go to beach, and it take me an hour with no traffic to get there. Took my ship for I spin and ended here on earth. Ran out of antimatter (hyperdrive fuel) and been stuck here since. Yesterday I started on that bottom turn. It needed more dirt and to make the downhill transition a little smoother. In the video I had been going around it onto the driveway. I was reading online about 1:1 dirt road construction and how it's a common practice to add cement to soil to help bind it. I'm going to get a few bags of cement and sand today and mix into the soil in this corner on the hill to help stabilize it and get it packed down nice. Untitled by Joe, on Flickr I also went from driving my bone stock TT-02 rally car with the pogo stick shocks to the xv-01. They are like polar opposites in handling. Definately need to upgrade to some CVA for the tt-02.
78Triumph 2610 Posted August 12, 2019 I worked all weekend on this section. It was a lot of labor but I enjoyed it and I'm pretty happy with the results. Just got to get some grass to grow on the turn surrounds. The soil - cement mixture seems to have set up pretty firm. I'll have to see how it holds up to the rain and if it helps resist wash outs. 78Triumph 2610 Posted August 18, 2019 Grass is already popping where I put it down earlier in the week. Should fill in nicely around this turn. More scale guardrail put up around it too. 78Triumph 2610 Posted August 25, 2019 Decided to use the Sand Scorcher body I had been weathering and rusting as a prop. I think the more things like this I begin to add with make the entire thing look scale, or put it into perspective or context. I don't know, its just supposed to look like an old rusted out vw beetle body rotting away in the woods.
