Fabia130vRS 2098 Posted July 25, 2018 So, I believe I have seen somewhere a sare housing for a lrp brushed motor. I am not sure, the thing is the holes with threads for the mounting of the motor are stripped. Driling a bigger hole and making a new thread is not really a solution, since then the holes in the chassis need to be drilled I kind of blocked on this one, does anybody have some ideas how could I fix this. I am really attached to this motor and it runs pefect after 20 years, It was bought new by me in 1998, a whole years saving went on this motor, back in 1998 as a kid. 🤣
Backlash 481 Posted July 26, 2018 You could try an M3 Helicoil maybe? If not, it may just be easier to look for another motor can....
