As mentioned above, I restored my Sand Skipper using parts from several used Sand Skippers/Coyotes and Hiluxes, and I'm not as deep into Kyosho as I'm into Tamiya, so I can't exclude the possibility that some of the other parts are late production spec and thus not period correct for the use of early production bumper on the model. (And btw, the dusty and dirty plastic film seen inn the pic is just the (loose) protective plastic film the NOS Sand Skipper body came with and typical for Kyosho bodies before the "molded on" protective film was introduced.)
mongoose1983 3335 Posted January 26, 2019 Oh, that's a magnificent example! It has been very complex for me to find a bodyshell. And I believe even a broken rollbar would do so I could resemble it with some aluminum bars here. I'm aware of the Coyote in Germany but it is not cheap. Anyway, here's some pictures from another thread: You all have a good weekend!

I don't have a broken rollbar, but I can scan the single pieces of my NIB one and provide the basic measurements, if you want to? I've considered building a runner from the leftover parts I have and knowing that the rollbar is so fragile it might even break just from picking up the model (especially know with the high age), a runner would need a replacement made of tougher plastic tube or aluminum anyway.
