Sickpup 10 Posted August 23, 2018 Can anyone recommend a body filler for use on hard Tamiya bodies?
KEV THE REV 2319 Posted August 23, 2018 I've been using Humbrol modelling filler as that's all I can get round here at the mo. but it works well . I've also used Isopon car body filler if I need a lot , and Isopon fine plastic bumper filler - it stick like whatsit to a blanket !!
martinjpayne 273 Posted August 23, 2018 Best putty bar none is Tamiya 87076 Light-Curing Putty. Only sets after being held under sunlight or fluorescent light for a couple of minutes, adheres well to Tamiya hard plastic and sands well.
zomboided 374 Posted August 23, 2018 Depends on the job - I like melting sprues into holes with a soldering iron to fill them and then smoothing them over with Isopon P38. I then tend to put a coat of primer on and address small issues with a finishing putty.
