Opinion On Axial 27t

I just got an Axial 27t motor for my Lunchbox. I have not had a chance to run it yet.....How does this compare with a Sport Tuned 540?

If you're referring to the "green label" motor with the built in fan, I tried one in my Midnight Pumpkin. Seemed a bit quicker than the stock silver can, and better torque. Was very noisy however. A Sport-tuned motor should be faster ( better RPM ), but may produce less torque. Sounds like you already have one, so just run it and have fun. If it puts a smile on your face, it's doing it's job!

I wound up putting it in my Grasshopper.......It works well, and is a step up from a stock motor, but I tend to agree that it's not quite as fast as a Sport Tuned 540. I still like it, though. Thanks for the reply.
