Bruiser body alignment

I have a Bruiser body with non aligning cab and bed, I thought it was normal until I saw a photo with perfecly matching body parts. Also the curvature on the cab and bed are different on mine.

Is this normal or am I using mixture of Bruiser and Mountaineer body ? I bought my Bruiser never ran and never painted so I don't think it is combination of different kits.

As from my memory, this is not an existing matter. Maybe you just need to fix it with all the necessary screws first and check again. If it really still misaligns then , this should be an easy fix IMO.

That doesn't look like a standard bed (it's deep!) - are you sure it's Tamiya?

The curvature might have been affected by the mods (if it's a modified Tamiya)

Scoobybooster; I've just taped everything tight and nothing changed. It is more clear in this photo, side embossment sits few milimeters below. 

Twinset; It was a vintage Bruiser bed with sleeper but I cut it and built a drop bed. It is very accurate on both sides and balanced on flat surface. Measured 99 times, cut once. 

 

It looks like the curvature problem is because of the bed side embossement being lower than the cab's.

Found this photo, maybe it's how Tamiya made it.

Looks like you have the bed from the RC4WD Mojave II Body.  That bed is too deep to be a Tamiya bed.

I am now convinced that the original Bruiser has alignment issue. I looked at many photos and they all have it except for the box art and side drawings. I am going to ignore my ocd and go on with this project.
