Neo Scorcher problems

Recommended Posts

I am having problems with a TTO2B based Neo Scorcher, with a  ETRONIX PULSE EX2 SPORT radio set, in that the aerial clip, when screwed on to the side of the Rx box fouls the central propshaft and also the pre-drilled hole in the chassis base, does not line up with the hole in the Rx box ....

I’m sure this is disgraceful, but I just leave the 2.4Ghz aerial loose under the shell, perhaps a little tape to prevent it getting snapped or caught somewhere. Much easier than the 27Mhz whips.

Will the range not be reduced - or is the external aerial just "for looks" ?

And what about the holes not lining up ?

By the time range is an issue you will struggle to see the car to control it.

OK thanks - I assume that if it does go "out of range" - the power will shut off - to save it disappearing over the horizon ?

Also - what is the best (simplest) way of increasing the steering lock ?

The steering IS centred - but the lock is very small !

Can't. Unless you fitted the mods that drift cars use. The turning circle is fairly useless. Lol

It is quite unusual for a standard radio with EPAs set to 100% to struggle to push the steering to the full extent of its lock, however some servos have more travel than others, so possibly if nothing else works you might consider a different servo?
