Nope, I am the one who's stuck in the 80's, the date is correct!  (I'm listening to 'Manic Monday' now!)  I don't drink beer anymore either.  Too many carb calories!  (I'm preaching to the preacher himself, lol... )  But the walls are still pink.

Tree shades make that room way too blue and gloomy.  I'm allergic to pink.  But I figured 'barely-noticeable-pink' would counter the blue.  Like magic, 10 out 10 people say the walls are white during the daytime.  In the evening, the bluish "pure white" bulbs make them totally white also.  Only the sunset makes them doubly pink.  It's weird, but I like how they become pink only during sunsets.  But I can't handle a pink dragon!

Is the paint color called Loft Light? My girlfriend picked some of that out, and I painted a bedroom with it. It looked like a decent shade of white on the sample card in the store, and it looked white when I was putting it on. Once it was dry and the lighting through the window changed, it was obviously pink. After a couple days, we both decided that we couldn't handle it, and I repainted the room something else. Not wanting to waste the leftover paint, I painted the inside of the bathroom cabinets with it, and you don't even notice.

I'd take that DN01 though.

Finally, it arrived safe and sound... er, with minor damage.  I'm glad it worked out.  Thank you for all the well-wishes!

Secondhand NIB for $120 (including shipping) is a pretty good deal.  I hope the scuffs on the roof isn't deeper than the protective film.  But I'm sure it loves to skid on its roof, upside down, so it won't matter soon.

You're going to be surprised by the handling.

That broken pin shouldn't matter once the screws are in.
