Vanquish Parts (may be common on Avante & Egress)

Recommended Posts

The last parts I need for my Vanquish restore are:-

parts needed

2 Nr battery tray catches, 2Nr BP2 with screws BC2

& 1 Nr BL7 the screw that lets the front wheel carrier turn in the front upright.

parts needed1

I suspect (hope)  these parts may be common to the Avante or Egress.

On the Vanquish they come from 3 separate screw bags and are like rocking horse poo with a cost you can expect from such hard to find parts.

Even if someone has the relevant part numbers (parts/screw bag) from Avante that I can source for a lot less then please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

The step screws (your BL7) are in the avante kit ‘BL’ link pin bag. The BP part isn’t in the avante kit unfortunately. The avante uses an r-clip mount with its own thread on, self tapping.

Those step screws are the same as used for Mchassis as well.

The BP2 is also quite common. Have to check Seidel I believe you can get it separately.

I´m also searching the battery Posts for my restore, quite hard to come by. Step screws are also used on some other models as link Pins for C-hubs.

The hexagonal mount looks like it might be the same as is in the super hotshot ‘B’ bag, loads of bits in there though so expensive I bet. Look at the manual downloads from tamiya.com

Seidel, he has loads available, live in Germany so no shipping problems. And sometimes Tamico but they are usually a bit more expensive for spares.

Used to be a big fan of Banzai hobbies but the dont do T anymore

Some say he has more Tamiya parts than Tamiya,...….

And he packs orders before you actually order them.  (They arrive quick, often next day)

All I know is they call him the stig Tony

Did anyone find a place to get the BP2 parts? And what's the part number? Cheers.
