I asked the question in the new tamiya toyota hybrid Lmp1 thread and it was suggested that the front of these bodies would be too low. I can see this now - the front of a typical lmp1 car sits lower than the top of the front wheels and arches so would probably clash with the front gearbox and shock towers on a touring car chassis

You might be able to get away with a touring car chassis with inboard front suspension, or IFS, such as the TB-03, TA-05IFS or similar. These move the front suspension components to behind the front wheels rather than above and between them, allowing for shells with very low noses.

what turnip said.  There's also the TA06. If you want a sure fit for clearance I'd suggest a Serpent 4X.   But with all of these one has to consider the wheelbase may be off, some LMP shells are 270mm IIRC.
