Vintage Tamiya Battery Elastic Bands + RX / MSC Balloons

Weird question but does anyone know if any of these period rubber parts have survived or could be replaced with visually identical re re ?

The modern elastic bands holding batteries in place on 80s re re are all white - vs black back in the day - and the only Tamiya MSC / RX rubber balloons I’ve been able to find are blue - again, vs the original black.

I just want to keep my restorations original if I can - or looking as close to it as possible !

I had a vintage FAV bag with the rubber bands in it and they had totally perished . I've still got a couple of vintage black baloons and they seemed to be ok .

Sure the elastic band didn't come in white as well, had several vintage cars that had them in white, completely disintegrated but in white (hornet, Willy M38, bruiser)

I may have a package of these Ballons btw.

I think white / blue replacement rubber started around 94 - so it’s def possible for later period parts to have perished by now. 

Please PM me if you’ve got a set of original blacks you’d be prepared to part with @waterbok ?

I have many black original vintage balloons on my MSC's and they're holding up fine. Rubber bands on the other hand, those things are turning into dust :/
