Would they fit other models with 12mm hex....

A lot of these units replace the host truck's steering knuckle with their own knuckle

Whilst there's no pic of the knuckle, these probably do replace them as there's two different Tamiya compatible units (High Lift and CR01)

Here's RC4WD's version;

Yes, I bought a set of these for a CC01 in the scollins/speedy_w_beans "team build" thread.  In short, these go under the Team Raffee brand name and inherently have quite a bit of friction due to the rubber tracks.  Furthermore, the rubber tracks were inconsistent; a second set of rubber was a little thinner than the first set and had somewhat less friction.  I tried punching holes and treating the rubber with chemicals to soften them up, but in the end I just 3D printed some tracks to get the low friction I was after.  Scollins is waiting for a good snow in Wisconsin and then he should report in with some results.

Wow just read most of the bits of your thread - tried to search for details but it kept coming back with Tanks!

Seems you put a huge amount of effort into improving it - so it seems with the rubber bands it's not very good. For me that would be the better option from a wear / grip perspective as it would get driven on hard surfaces most of the time.

Thanks for the info.
