And when I look anything less than ecstatic I get told that I'm really difficult to buy for. Not if you ask me what I want!!!!!

Some more goodies (consumables?)

(Although the Venom tyres have been stolen , and now mounted on the FTX wheels)

Nothing for me this year.  Well, the wife is getting me a portable gas heater for my day van, so I can park up at local beauty spots and do some writing on cold days without having to have the engine running, but nothing RC related.

My parents gave me an unexpected cash injection which would easily pay for some more RC goodness, but finances are pretty tight and we just got hit with several big and unexpected bills right after the other and we still need loads of other stuff for the house, so I doubt I'll spend any of it on RC goodness.

I plan to buy a cheap 9ch radio set for my new rig project early next year.

That said, one of my dear old RC-related buddies (who used to roam on here under the name of Bag of Badgers many moons ago) is coming over this afternoon.  I've got a few NIB kits in storage, so if he fancies it we could have a build-off.  He doesn't really build kits much these days due to lack of funds and health problems.  Although we'll probably spend the afternoon chasing toddlers around the house.

A rere Super Hotshot was under my tree. I am now the owner of both the Hotshot and Super Hotshot rere. A bit of overcompensating for not getting a Tamiya kit in my childhood.

A dremel for me.  One of those things that I always meant to buy and have needed a thousand times so finally got one.

Now that you have it, it'll get used once every 2 years.

I usually try and drop hints and guide it a little, but this year I stepped backed. I ended up getting a Lego X-wing starfighter . My mother-in-law also gives me a ridiculous amount of money each year, so this year I am putting it towards a Wild Willy 2. In fact as I write this I am waiting for my son to get dressed so we can go to the local hobby store to buy it :D
