Dyna Storm, what to do with it!?

Anyone can tell me why original TRF211x had lower steering arms?  Have a close look to this pictures:

I made some now but i cant figure out what the big benefit is, except less plastic.

I´d say no Benefit, even worse than original Dyna Storm. By bringing the bearings in a greater distance, the up and down play is reduced. Maybe they adapted some parts from another model? Wouldn´t think the weight would make a difference...

There is no difference with the play as there is a spacer under the bearing. I really dont get it why they manufactured it like this for that 150 (or whatever they made) original TRF211x. But in fact it does not matter, I wanted to give it a try and now its done. Its more the technical aspect what made me curions about.:unsure:
