I spy a Eurostock motor!

Is it up for sale/trade?

Sven

Hello Sven, I can not sell the motor because it already has a determination, it will find place in my TA-03R

I wish someone made these large scale touring car bodies these days. I would do a rally car on my spare TRF201 chassis in a heartbeat!

@Sammo where did you find a Mondeo shell?!

this thread is full of win

eBay. I’ve been after one for the last couple of years but they go for stupid money. This one was relatively cheap so I was all over it :)

This started out as Kyosho Inferno 10 with a OS CZR engine. To gain more speed i installed a Picco .15 EXR engine, that was made for those on road 1/10 scale missiles that were running on foam tyres. Actually a .21 with less displacement, they were called Big Blocks bitd because the crankcase is as big as that of a .21. The result was very fast and acceleration was mind blowing, nearly undriveable....:D

with a Kyosho Citroen Xsara body

That's the one. A model shop we used to sometimes visit just outside Cambridge had one stapled to their ceiling, as RC shells always seemed to be in every LMS I ever went in. I really wanted it, but had no idea what it would fit on and never had the cash. It remained on that ceiling for years and every time I went in I thought "I'll buy it next time I go in". Then the shop closed and presumably somebody else picked it up for pennies in a bargain bin. C'est la vie.

By the looks of things it might be too narrow for a 1:10 buggy. But then my Parma '70 Pontiac GTO was fine widthwise for my SWB Mid, although it was hopeless in every other way. The Nomad might work on a monster truck, though.

Some of those Parma bodies were made for 1/10 scale pan cars and some were made for 1/10 scale buggies. Even in the 1990 Kyosho catalog you could find Parma bodies, I think the red/white one is a GTO, the pink one was afaik a Chevy Malibu, the one i did for my Optima Mid Custom bitd, even with the same decals, the California Raisins, also a decal set from Parma. Those pics in that 1990 Kyosho catalog started a oval race craze among my friends, we were doing racing every saturday or sunday on the parking lots of our town. Optimas, Lazers,  Egress, Cats.....those were the days....RIMG2896.JPG.9a84667dc51efc41b2e6acdaf6a85bc3.JPG
