I have no experience with these but the seller rcdamper used to be rcjazz on ebay. 3 years ago i purchased some aluminum upgrades for my dt03t and they were cheese, literally bent the rear axles on the first run. More recently i purchased a aluminum servo holder for my  re re optima made by them that seems more durable but it also doesnt take the constant abuse inside the chassis. Id still be cautious, i looked at them for my txt 2 and passed.

Thanks for the info!.  Have you had issues with the stock axle guards bending where the lower links mount?  I had that problem on my TXT-1 and that was the reason I went with the aluminum replacements.  If anybody else had experience with these please let me know.

No i have not, so far the only issue i have had with my txt 2 was bending one of the stock rods that lock out the rear steering. I purchased the heavy duty rods from someone on ebay it fixed that and now less play too.

That makes me confident!  I asked my LHS to check a price for me as I missed the Tamico sale but got worried these may not be around forever.  He accidentally ordered it!  He cut me a good price though so I'm going to go ahead and do it.

I had issues with my TXT-1 bending at the link mount but not my TXT-2. From the feel of the part and how it cut off the sprue, I think the TXT-2 axle guards may be made from a stronger, glass reinforced plastic. The parts are interchangeable.

They definitely are fiber reinforced as are the wheel mounts and the body/ damper mount holders. I noticed right away from the color difference from the other black plastic. My dn01 uses the same with a bunch of parts and survives abuse
