Is there an alternative part to the fiddly white door pin that comes with the Monster beetle? I've seen one from CRP online but its not available anywhere. Wondered if there was an alternative that is available as the stock park is difficult to get on and off.

Yes this used to be the answer :-

https://www.google.com/search?q=crp+battery+door+clip&client=firefox-b&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiFrYyBpP_fAhWSs3EKHW0AB5oQ_AUIDygC&biw=1680&bih=927#imgrc=vZXOcgeiwoW3wM:

but as you say it doesn't show up for sale on a search though

Come on AMpro make another :)

How about drilling or screwing something into the white clip to enable a gizmo to be attached to it so you could get a grip on it more easily . I'll look into it

I've tried the CRP thingy.  The teeth get rounded and eventually it just wants to fall out.  And the grab-tab sometimes grabs things that you don't want (like sticks) and it pulls itself out...  And no one like battery dragging...

I've tried various rods and screws and nuts and bolts, etc.  They are a PITA when you want to swap batteries...

The best thing is the white Tamiya thingy.  If it wears out, get a new one.  They are cheap enough, so get an extra...

ETA, I've found the easiest way for me to get it out is to push on the teeth end, rather than pulling on the head end...
