Just finished mine, apart from setting camber and toe.

For the center pivot i cut a carbon piece which fixes in the same place as the ampro one

For the top arm mount i went infront of the uprights, i cut down some orm gearbox sleeves to provide a 4mm long m3 nut. I used this to tie the mounting area together. I pit a short screw in the back and a ball on the front.

That gave room to mount the shock to the upright.

All seems to work well. I can probably remove or cut down the shock limiters.

I also made a rough shock brace

And the fishing line mod

Just charged a battery to centre the servo and check it all works rigjt and the thing doesnt fit the battery holder. badword, it does, but you cant shut it.

Guess ill have to come up with a new battery clip.

Still, little go round the living room and i can already tell this thing is ace!

It has a high torque servo and tyre foams too, cant wait to het it out and thrash it!

Really tempted to put a technigold in it but i built it to race my nephew so not really fair. Maybe my spare torque tuned wouldnt be cheating too bad?

Ill play with ride height and shock travel, and set front sag a bit better as its too soft on the front right now.

Gave it a little neg camber on the front to visually fix the wider track but may still make some wider rear hub adapters.

I guess i can get back to the porsche now ;)

Nice job , it's a great improvement as you've already found out .

I'm just fleshing out my Kyosho Ultima 1 front beam that I've transplanted into another LB chassis . It's widened the front track by around 8 - 10mm per side , just waiting for some dampers to arrive , I've got a little bit more fabricating to do . Will post up some pics when I'm a bit further along

I have the upgrade and am just confused as to how to install it...lol

Its pretty straight forward. The arms need a little cutting off the back, put one next to a standard arm and you'll see.

Alright ill give it a go, do i absolutely need a different lower brace like the ampro one? Will the stock one work for now? (im talking about the one that holds the arms to the chassis)

Lower brace? You need an upper mount for the top arms but thats all. I made mine, or you can buy the ampro piece.

All you need is the fx10 bottom arms and uprights, some turnbuckes for the top arms, a centre mount for the top arms and the hardware to fix it all together. Then decide how you want to mount the shocks. Where i mounted them is tight, but everything clears fine and works well.

You still use the original part that holds the arms on . When you trim the FX 10 arms as graemevw said you only need to trim a very small slither off , not too much or they will be sloppy . It is easier to make or buy a upper rod mount but you can fit the upper arm rod to the D4 part that screws on the front by using ball ends bolted into it .
